Legislative Building at Queen’s Park
The Legislative Assembly of Ontario welcomes school groups for a free educational experience offered throughout the year. In this section, you will find a variety of education programs designed to support the Ontario school curriculum as well as other options designed to engage students and enhance their experience. Programs are suitable for elementary and high school students and can be facilitated in French based on staff availability.
Visits to the Toronto location include teaching tools which are designed to assist educators to introduce Ontario's parliament and government. Lesson plans have been created following the guidelines of the Ontario Social Studies Curriculum for elementary students and the Canadian and World Studies Curriculum for high school students. Online games and quizzes are also available to engage students and make learning fun. Materials are available in both English and French.
