Alliance Française d’Halifax
Founded in 1903, the Alliance Française d’Halifax belongs to the Alliance Française family, the world’s largest network of French language schools and cultural centres. It is located today in the historical Hydrostone district, in the North end of Halifax.
Alliance Française Halifax (AFH) is a Language School and a French Cultural Centre. It is a Canadian not-for-profit association. Alliance Française Halifax works to promote French Culture, in the wide sense of Francophony. They act to develop the teaching and learning of French, and encourage communication between francophones, francophiles and all Canadians, through a modern cultural and education program.
