L’Aquilon

L'Aquilon is a French-language weekly newspaper published in the Northwest Territories (NWT). The newspaper covers northern news from an office in Yellowknife. Which is also where the administrative offices are located. The main distribution is in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

L'Aquilon was founded in 1986. First it was published monthly, then newspaper becomes bi-weekly in 1989 and then weekly in 1993.

L'Aquilon is an associate member of the Fédération franco-ténoise, and a  member of the Association de la presse francophone.
