Terra Nova Taekwon-Do

Operated by Sabum Jeff Butt, 4th degree Black Belt, Terra Nova Taekwon-Do is the only French-language martial arts school in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Taekwon-Do is a Korean martial art developed and introduced by General Choi Hong Hi. Loosely translated, "Taekwon-Do" means the way or art of defending oneself with the feet and hands. Taekwon uses scientific principles to maximize power and is characterized by a moral culture that aims to eliminate fighting and discourage aggression through a focus on humanity, righteousness, propriety, wisdom and trust.

Taekwon-Do is a martial art that requires its students to observe the tenets of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit.

The classes are happening at the Centre des Grands-Vents, open to all ages, starting at 6 years old!
