The Association communautaire francophone de St-Jean
The Association communautaire francophone de St-Jean (ACFSJ) is a not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to "inspire and support the development and action of the francophone community in St. John’s by means of the Centre scolaire et communautaire des Grands-Vents."
The ACFSJ has as its vision "that the Centre scolaire et communautaire des Grands-Vents become the primary focus for the development and action of the francophone community".
The association offers a wide range of sports and cultural activities, such as swimming lessons, soccer, badminton, improvisation workshops, play groups for the little ones, computer classes. The association also organizes some celebrations, musical evenings and movie nights. There is something for all tastes and for all ages!
Every Saturday morning, children between the ages of 5 and 14 years old can join the Saturday Club and have fun and enjoy doing crafts, playing music, sports, acting and more!
