University of Saskatchewan

The University of Saskatchewan (U of S) is a Canadian public research university, founded in 1907, and located on the east side of the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

U of S offers French programs with a great deal of flexibility through diverse course offerings of international, national and provincial importance. Whether students are considering a major or simply a rewarding elective, the programs are able to accommodate every level, and build upon existing knowledge of the language. Studies in French are offered by the Department of Languages, Literature and Cultural Studies (LLCS). Among the benefits offered, there are several opportunities to study abroad to better master the language by living in another country or French-speaking region.

Since the fall of 2016, students studying law from the University of Saskatchewan can now receive a certificate of common law in French through a partnership with the UOttawa/ University of Ottawa.
