Centre Francophone Hamilton

Centre Francophone Hamilton enables you to meet people, socialize, have fun, and share the French language and culture with Francophones and Francophiles of Hamilton. Activities are designed for all lovers of the French language, irrespective of nationality or language, and also to build bridges between the different cultures that enrich Canada.

Centre Francophone Hamilton supports local and French-Canadian artists in their development and helps in the dissemination of their work.

Camps:

Reflection, inspiration and creation - "Francophone Arts" is a French summer camp for children age 4 and up. Francophone artists trained in theater, music and dance are hired to interact and provide a quality artistic program. Children will discover their artistic potential through exchanges with actors from the artistic community. Campers deepen their confidence in language and their artistic potential through workshops, presentations, performances and individual creation.

Events:

Centre Francophone Hamilton offers 7 theatrical shows throughout the year and two community festivals including FrancoFEST.

Programs:

A variety of programs for all ages and for all levels of French are offered. Examples of programs include Conversation Cafe, French Book Club, French language support, storytime, workshops, training and more.
