Muséoparc Vanier Museopark
The Muséoparc Vanier Museopark is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development, preservation and dissemination of both the tangible and intangible heritage of the Quartier Vanier, Richelieu Park and the French-speaking population of Ottawa. This community museum is the only francophone museum in Ottawa and one of the rare Canadian museums outside of Quebec dedicated to the French-speaking community. The Muséoparc Vanier Museopark can be explored both indoors and outdoors with a variety of exhibitions, collections, and educational programming including camps.
Services:
Camps
A variety of educational summer camp options for children age 4 to 12 is offered at their your unique facility located at historic Richelieu Park. Activities include: history games in the museum, dynamic activities in the park and creative activities of crafts and theatre.
Programs
The centre delivers a wide variety of quality programs for all age groups and also provides family activities to enjoy.
Field Trips
The Muséoparc Vanier Museopark offers students a rich learning environment. Activities are aimed at supporting the work of teachers, and follow the Ontario curriculum, including its language development policies. A variety of subjects are available for educators to choose from including grade specific workshops.
