University of Regina
The University of Regina is a public research university located in Regina, Saskatchewan and is home to 10 faculties and 25 academic departments which have established reputations for excellence and innovative programs leading to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees.
In September 2015, marked the official inauguration of La Cité universitaire francophone, the new Francophone entity on campus. A result of the amalgamation of the Institut français and the Department of French at the University of Regina, La Cité universitaire francophone was granted academic status equivalent to other faculties, giving it the authority to manage its university programs and grant degrees - a historic step in French-language university education in the province.
Undergraduate French courses and programs, in addition to Graduate programs in French enables students to attain a solid intermediate level in both oral and written French. A beginner's knowledge of French is required prior to enrolment.
